ZTP WOZ Volunteer Info Session

You're invited to join us on Saturday, May 13th from 11 am - 12:30 pm at the beautiful Zilker Botanical Garden for an informal volunteer information session. Come nosh on light snacks and drinks while you learn about, and sign up for, the volunteer positions that match your skills and interests from our fantastic Front of House and Production Staff for this summer's show...The Wizard of Oz! (The show will run on Thursday - Sunday evenings, July 7 - August 12, 2017.)

Information:

• Join the ZTP team at The Zilker Botanical Garden (2220 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78746).
• Parking & Transporation: Suggsted info in the FAQs
• Head to the Gift Shop, and look for the signs to the Auditorium.
• Let ZBG staff know that you are attending ZTP's event, and you will not be charged an entry fee.
• This event is inside - join us rain or shine!

FAQs

Do I need to pay for entry to the Zilker Botanical Garden?

No, you are ZTP's guest. Please let the ZBG admissions staff know you are attending ZTP's event, and you will not be charged to enter.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking:

It will be very busy at the Zilker Botanical Garden, so do give yourself about 15-20 extra minutes to allow for time to park in the gravel lot on Stratford at ZBG's back entrance. Once parked, come through the Rose Gate and wander up to the main building with the gift shop.

• Please park in the Stratford Gravel lot, located on GPS at 2236 Stratford Drive, Austin
  
• Enter through the "Rose Gate" and let the attendant know you are attending a meeting.
  
• Individuals with mobility issues can pull into the main entrance at 22220 Barton Springs Road, Austin and let the gate attendant know they need disabled parking (or to be dropped off and then the driver can park below on Stratford).
• Anyone who arrives to the main gate will simply be redirected to Stratford by the attendant.

Where is the Auditorium at the Zilker Botanical Garden?

The Auditorium is in the main building, near the ZBG Gift Shop. It's the large room straight ahead when you walk in and turn to the right. We will have signs up.

Typical Volunteer Hours for ZTP WOZ

The Wizard of Oz runs from July 7 - August 12, Thursday through Sunday evenings at approximately 8:15. Depending on a volunteer's role, we typically ask folks to arrive at the Zilker Hillside Theater by 6 pm.
